Quality Control Methods / Results
Analyses:
- SDS PAGE: Major 52 kDa band with minor proteolytic
fragments.
- Western Blot:Major 52 kDa Band with minor proteolytic
fragments.
- Specific protein concentration determined by Bradford
assay vs. BSA.
Comments:
When expressed in E. Coli., Ro-52 has a tendency to
undergo proteolytic degradation. The proteolytic fragments
remain associated during purification and all exhibit
strong immunoreactivity against human anti-Ro/SS-A antiserum
in Western Blots.
